Dirty Bathrooms, Large Crowds, and Bad Food. If you’re booking a trip soon, try to avoid a long layover in one of these airports.
Pakistan’s Islamabad Benazir Bhutto International Airport is the world’s worst airport, according to Sleeping at Airports, a website that gives tips for exactly that: sleeping at airports. The site’s annual ranking, based on tourist surveys that asked about comfort and crowds at terminals, Wi-Fi, food options and overall cleanliness, gave it low marks for its large crowds and lackluster security.
World’s worst airports:
1. Islamabad Benazir Bhutto International Airport, Pakistan
2. Jeddah King Abdulaziz International Airport, Saudi Arabia
3. Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport, Nepal
4. Manila Ninoy Aquino International Airport, Philippines
5. Tashkent International Airport, Uzbekistan
6. Paris Beauvais-Tille International Airport, France
7. Frankfurt Hahn International Airport, Germany
8. Bergamo Orio al Serio International Airport, Italy
9. Berlin Tegel International Airport, Germany
10. New York City LaGuardia International Airport, USA

And how about PAL, Inc? ???
Reminds me when migrated for Australia in Aug 17, '80. There were two planes due to depart from Manila International Airport (Mactan airport was not yet international) at the same time (7:45 PM), viz., PAL and QANTAS.
Being sooo patriotic, took PAL. QANTAS departed on time, PAL left at 2 AM following day. What really got me p#ssed was that me wasn't phoned beforehand. But the puti passenger beside me was. >:(
The puti passenger said, "PAL, Inc is the acronym for Plane Always Late, If Not Cancelled". ;D
Still like that? :-\ :) ;)

The airport ranking agency Skytrax just released its annual list of top airports around the globe, and it won’t surprise anyone that Singapore has again taken the top spot. Rounding out that list are:
1. Singapore Changi Airport
2. Incheon International Airport
3. Munich Airport
4. Hong Kong International Airport
5. Amsterdam Schipol Airport
6. Tokyo International Airport
7. Beijing Capital International Airport
8. Zurich Airport
9. Vancouver International Airport
10. London Heathrow Airport
-

Hopefully, with the influx of fifo Pinoys, Ninoy Aquino International Airport will top Singapore Changi Airport. And the rest will become world-class airports. And, more airports will be added. :) ;)

How safe are the Philippines airlines? I heard they are banned from flying in Europe.
about 4 years ago about Philippines
• Sorry but I am afraid you are ALL wrong. ALL carriers from the Philippines are banned from Europe but it has NOTHING to do with the airlines, it is to do with the security of the airports in the Philippines and unfortunately mainly the main gateway in Manila NAIA.

Tsk3X! Wonder how this gonna impact the influx of fifo Pinoys commuting from/to Australian mining towns in the not too distant future. Australia's terrorist alert flag is now on 'high'. :-\
