She had the voice. A “Tawag Ng Tanghalan” champion. Yep, she knew how to make excellent use of her asset.
At a young age, me had the voice, too. Not anymore. But me chose a different path. Too timid&scared­ to be on stage. Hehehe. Preferred to be an engr - a silent worker/quiet achiever.
Seriously, singer/actor aspirants are pataygutom. Only when one makes a hit (very2x few did) that the tides will change. But, then again, should that happen, will practically lose private life. Very little or no time for one’s self.
Makes me wonder what my life would have been had me chosen that path.
