The Hurting is the debut album by the British pop band Tears for Fears. It was released on 7 March 1983, and peaked at no. 1 on the UK Album Chart. The album was certified Platinum by the BPI in January 1985.

The album contained Tears For Fears' first three hit singles – "Mad World", "Change", and "Pale Shelter" – all of which reached the Top 5 in the UK.

The album was remastered and reissued in 1999, and included four remixes as bonus tracks and an extensive booklet which described the recording process of the album.

Songs from the Big Chair is the second album by the British rock band Tears for Fears. It was released in 1985 on Phonogram Records, and remains their highest selling album to date. The album peaked at no.2 in the UK (where it remained in the Top 10 for over six months and in the Top 40 for over a year) and reached no.1 (for five weeks) in the US. It contained a string of international hit singles, including: "Mothers Talk", "Shout", "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" and "Head Over Heels".

It was a big international success, reaching the top 10 in numerous countries, entering the UK album chart at number one and peaking at number eight in the US. The album, which features three international hit singles, has since been certified as Platinum in several countries. TFF member Ian Stanley left the band during the production of this album due to creative differences.

Songs (Fra Lippo Lippi album)

Songs is the third studio album by Norwegian pop rock group Fra Lippo Lippi. Originally released in 1985 by the band's own label, Easter Productions, Songs received favorable reviews and sold around 5,000 copies without any means of promotion.

Later that year, Virgin Records signed the band to a worldwide contract. The album was reissued and released internationally in 1986 with some songs re-recorded or remixed and the addition of the song "Everytime I See You". "Shouldn't Have to Be Like That", "Everytime I See You" and "Come Summer" were released as singles in Europe, while "Everytime I See You" and "The Distance Between Us" became popular hits in the Philippines. This version of the album also sold 20,000 copies in Norway.

Come Summer
Shouldn't Have to Be Like That
Even Tall Trees Bend
Just Like Me
Leaving
Regrets
Crash of Light
Everytime I See You
The Distance Between Us
Coming Home

Light and Shade is the fourth studio album by Norwegian pop rock group Fra Lippo Lippi. It was recorded in Los Angeles, California and produced by Walter Becker (of Steely Dan fame).[1]

Following the success of the 1985 album Songs, Virgin Records had the band work on a follow-up album with the U.S. as its intended target market. The first single "Angel" received moderate airplay on a radio station in Los Angeles. Unfortunately, during this time, the U.S. arm of Virgin Records dropped several artists off their roster - Fra Lippo Lippi being one of them. Frustrated by the album's failure to capture the U.S. market, the band parted ways with Virgin Records in 1988.

However, later that year the band found unexpected success in another part of the world. The title track and "Beauty and Madness" became immensely popular in the Philippines, prompting the band to visit the country and perform sold-out concerts there.

Don´t Take Away That Light
Beauty and Madness
