Alexandra Salmeron wins Miss Resorts World Manila 2012

26 year old Alexandra Salmeron won the 3rd crown of Miss Resorts World Manila 2012 during a elegant fashion show / beauty contest held at the Newport Performing Arts Theater on November 23.

Alexandra received P500,000 worth of cash and prizes, scholarships, and a Star Cruises Trip. She will also get to represent the name of the Philippines' first integrated lifestyle hub and showcase the innate Filipina beauty, culture, and pride both here and abroad.

The 1st run-up was Michelle Gavagan, a was former Miss Philippines Fire 2011. The 2nd run-up was Bb. Pilipinas 2012 Finalist Karen Gallman. 3rd run-up was also candidate to Binibining Pilipinas 2012, Jillean Orbina. And finally the 4th run-up was Angeli Gomez.

Completing the top 12 semi-finalists were: 2nd timer Kaara Tan, Zahara Soriano, Julian Flores, Erika San Buenaventura, Joanne Dagohoy, Hannah Dela Guerra and Katarina Maria Casem Martinez.

Special awards were also given out: Darling of the Press went to Julian Flores. Amazing Race Challenge winner was Michelle Gavagan. Karen Gallman wins the Miss Photogenic Award. And Social Media Fan Favorite was Ferina de Paz.
