Sack the stylist: Looks like inexplicably ubiquitous red carpet host Ryan Seacrest has been taking tips from a certain archeologist.

The second coming: Jared Leto didn't just look like Jesus on the night, he also promised to help the oppressed in Ukraine and Venezuela.

Shake it: The BAFTAs had Tinie Tempah high-fiving Prince William, the Oscars had to make do with Meryl Streep shimmying with Pharrell.

Cut short: Alfonso Cuaron and Mark Sanger went up to collect the gong for Best Editing. Sanger gave a lovely speech, thanked his wife, handed over to Alfonso... who got cut off before he even began. Bad form.

Lip service: Host Ellen stages an impromptu whip-round using Pharrell's hat to pay for a pizza delivery (?) and poor Lupita Nyong'o only had lip balm to offer.
