From drinking paint to chewing on dirty nappies, take a look at the world's strangest addictions. The stories will be featured in the new series of My Strange Addiction which begins this month on the TV channel TLC.

    Forty three-year-old single mother of two Heather, who lives in America, has been addicted to drinking paint for nearly three years. Despite the potentially deadly chemicals, Heather has consumed more than two gallons since her addiction began.
   

  Two years ago, 22-year-old Keyshia developed the strange addiction of chewing on and smelling dirty nappies. Since then, Keyshia has been filling her cupboards, drawers and purse with pee-soaked diapers to satisfy her cravings. Her fiancé is sick of the constant smell of urine and wants Keyshia to give up her addiction.

    Vladimir, 50, turned to leeches believing they would heal him after a car accident. Instead, he quickly became hooked on the vampire-like feeling. Now he needs a fix up to 40 times a year. He attaches up to 12 leeches at a time on his back, arms or legs to satisfy his craving.

    Forty four-year-old American twins Amy and Becky are addicted to being identical. They look alike, act alike, and even weigh their meals to stay the exact same size. The twins are together 24/7 and haven’t been apart for more than 30 minutes in 20 years.
