How can I assist you?

1. Once you have shown interest, we can correspond thru email to make sure that everything is written and there will be no blaming if the other is misinformed, however, call is also better when urgent although expensive for both parties.

2. You need to draft your resume and send it to me as soon as possible so I can check your qualifications first. The aim here is to shortlist people first before any document is processed. And to make sure your experience is competent in Dubai ’s job seekers.

3. I can process your tickets in Dubai using the current selling rate to be multiplied by the current exchange rate of dirham-peso.

4. I will find an accommodation for the entire group who are coming to Dubai .

5. I can assist during your applications by giving references, guiding your way thru the city and responding to your direct questions and needs.

6. I can provide assistance for your whole financial needs provided it is written in contract and you can start paying as soon as you get your first salary. The contract will be flexible depending on both terms and will only be screened first and evaluated for qualifications.

7. I will be taking care of your stay here during your tourist visa duration. Remember that a tourist visa is only up to 2 months with 10 extra days after that. Beyond that, it is your employer who will be providing you with your working visa, tickets and your future accommodation.

8. Whatever expenses you have here is assured that you are not being overcharged, you can check with your friends who are in the Emirates and they will mostly say the same amount, even much higher.

9. Once you have prepared all working documents, you need to scan and send by email a colored copy of the 1st page of your passport. This is needed for processing your tourist visa application.

What are the advantages of searching for a job while being a tourist in Dubai?

1. Dream Jobs. You are able to choose the companies you would be applying for, be able to check their location, and get first hand informations from co-kabayans you will meet in the job area.

2. “Here Comes the Money”. When it comes to salary, your interviewer will initially ask your asking rate and you will be able to negotiate the terms and rates, especially yearly tickets and family status or sponsorship.

3. ”Patience is a virtue”. If you know you are qualified, and you know you are confident to find that perfect job, why settle for an agency which can just offer you a tiny sum of your expectation, when you can just take that opportunity to come to Dubai , source out the best companies and enjoy years of hard earned money. Rather than taking the agency’s offer and blaming yourself later on for accepting it.

4. The Power of Connections. There is a huge number of Filipinos here in the UAE that it is impossible not to know anyone from your circle of friends who are working in Dubai . These could be the people who could offer you a job or support you emotionally or even financially. It is no surprise that referrals are famous in the work force.

5. Maximizing Strategy and Approach. Sometimes, an ordinary job vacancy may give a better paying salary than your dream job. If you are in Dubai , the newspaper has a classified ads section of all kinds of job vacancies that you can apply for. It will then be easier to change your resumes and will give you a wider choice of applications.

6. There are many more reasons, but in the end, maraming dahilan pag ayaw, maraming dahilan pag gusto. It’s up to you! READ FURTHER IF YOU ARE INTERESTED…

 10. Please note, certified copies po, hindi pwede ang RECTO copies, parang awa...

What expenses do you need to prepare?

1. Documents. Processing of passport and other local working documents.

2. Tourist visa. Normally a tourist visa bound for UAE is given an initial visa of 1 month. Within this month, you start looking for a job and you could possibly find a job as soon as possible. However, when an employer hires you and they don’t have enough time to process your working visa, you need to extend your tourist visa for a second month.

3. Airline ticket. It is cheaper to get the tickets in Dubai and send it to Philippines thru LBC. Your flight will either be from DVO-SINGAPORE-DUBAI and then back or MANILA-SINGAPORE-DUBAI and then back.

4. Accomodation. You will be staying in a place called Deira in Dubai where I am also staying. This is a prime location in Dubai and very accessible to all bus routes, metro station, taxi station, Fish Market, Al Ghurair Mall, Reef Mall, Deira CitiCente Mall, Clock Tower, Marks & Spencer, Chowking, and most food chains you find in the Philippines . This is also the hub of most Filipinos. You will be staying in an Apartment with a  6-person room sharing with Filipinos who are also your groups when you are coming to Dubai . Your accommodation is for 2 months. In this way, you can support each other while looking for a job. Once you find a job, the Company may provide a Company accommodation for you or you can choose to get the accommodation and transportation allowance and thus retain the room you are sharing with the group. This would cost you each about 700 dirhams each month which is about the average price you will pay for room sharing in Dubai .

5. Food. Food is very cheap in Dubai provided you buy in Fish Market. A weekly supply of fish, vegetables and fruits in this market for 5 person sharing will cost around 100 dirham. There are also 3 Philippine supermarkets in Deira called DeBelchior, Philippine Supermarket and Manila supermarket where you can find pork, ballot, itlog maalat, fish balls and all other Filipino food you would soon be craving once you are in Dubai .

6. Local Fares. Bus and metro fares are very cheap in UAE. All you need to buy is a NOL CARD for 20 dirham which you can recharge anytime. It is a centralized card for DUBAI you can use for using all public rides except taxi. The lowest fare rate is at 1.80 dirham for shorter distance and 5.80 dirham for the farthest trip. With the recent opening of the metro station, it is now very convenient to go to work

7. UAE SIM CARD. Etisalat sim card is a registered sim card which requires your passport copy so you can acquire an exclusive number. They normally sell it nowadays for 75 dirham at which you will also get a 75 dirham free credit.

8. OTHERS. includes Chicka Grill Bar, Starbucks, Chowking, Tequila, Pulutan, etc...
