Poetry - Prayer of a Desperate Child and Fear

God,
I have always seen Dad kneel here
Praying to you, where
I came to realize that you exist.
God,
I am reporting Dad to you, please don't resist.
Things are not the way they used to be,
Ever since Dad stopped kneeling here,
Things have not been the same.
God,
Wherever you are, come and help Dad
He doesn't pray anymore
He doesn't teach us Bible lessons
He doesn't stay at home again.
Six times I have seen him hit Mum hard.
Twice, I saw him bring another woman
Into our house and did some nasty things.
He has not paid my school fees.
Land-Lord is threatening to throw us out.
Mummy is pregnant, help her please.
God,
I saw Dad drunk one day
And I felt like dying
He smelled so bad
He even wee'd and poo'd in his trouser.
Father,
I've heard him call you so
I used to know when he will pray
And worship you an d laugh alone
Before you in worship.
But Dad is no more in his right mind.
Help Dad to change,
Please whatever he'd done to you
Forgive him and change him
I don't think you are a wicked God
Not to change my Dad.
Please, please, please;
Save my Dad. Amen

Fear
Once 'pon a time, I was in my room
When a mouse ran across the room
For fear of the unknown thing
I went a-jumping, off the floor my feet went while sitting.
Fear can make you do a thing,
You will least expect ever doing.
There are two types of fear in general,
One is the fear of the Creator (Original)
The other is the fear of creation (Ordinary)
We were not created to fear the created
But the Creator we are expected,
To fear reverently to the very end.
And in nothing should we ever bend-
Away from this Holy call,
Unless we want a woeful tale us to befall.
Why do we fear the created
When the creator is here to nurture
Our dreams, desires, plans, purposes and pursuits to mature
Why do we fear life more
Than the giver of life's scores
Why do we let our within hide-
Away from following our true guide.
The fear of the creator grants our within wisdom,
The fear of the created cripples our wisdom.
Reverence, the fear of God seems to whisper
Phobia, the fear of the created seems to give as threat
Out of reverence your within will rise
Out of phobia your within will be surprised into bondage in a cage.
When a man wants to live a fulfilled
Life. Let the fear of God be willed.
Then his within will swell
And when creation see you she will tell,
What manner of creature is this?
It is a creature that has made God's Reverence his.
The fear of what people will say
The fear of failure
The fear of the unknown
The fear of offending others
The fear of getting hurt
The fear of coming to grips with reality of life.
The fear of expressing your true identity.
The fear of misrepresentation.
The fear of performing below expectation.
Only one fear will cripple these fears
The fear of God, before which other fears
Grow cold, trust Him and be bold.
Fear only Him that can destroy both your spirit, soul and body.
And don't fear any other fear.
